**IMPORTANT AIRLINE TRAVEL BOOKING INFORAMTION**
The NNPDF has contracted with Midwest Express and Delta Airlines (details to follow shortly for Delta) with regards to booking flights under group rate opportunities so that families can realize a 6%-10% discount on their air transportation costs. In light of the recent airline difficulties, the NNPDF strongly suggests that all bookings be paid for via a credit card. If the airline goes out of business, you may then dispute the charge on your account (since you did not receive the contracted services) and receive your monies back. You may also look into travel insurance from your local travel agent or coverage offered by AAA.
Pricing for the travel insurance often begins at $49.00 per ticket.
If someone does not have travel protection and need to cancel their trip, the airline tickets are good for 1 year from the date of issue . There would be a fee by the airline to do this, in addition, if the new ticket was more money, that would also have to be paid.
Midwest Express Airlines
The NNPDF has chosen Midwest Airlines as one of our preferred carriers with a 6%-10% discount for our attendees. If you book 60 days out you will receive a 10% discount ~ within 60 days a 6% discount. It is a great airline with lots of amenities and highly rated also.
There are three convenient purchase options for booking your flights on Midwest:
*Online: visit www.midwestairlines.com and type the tour code (below) in the promo box (bonus Midwest Miles offered
for online bookings)
* Phone: call Midwest at 800-452-2022 and provide the tour code to the reservations agent
*Travel Agent: purchase ticket(s) through a travel agent, provide them with the tour code information or have them call
the Midwest reservations department.
Promo/Tour Code Number: CMZ7076
Information on Delta Airlines booking to follow shorlty.
The NNPDF Central Office will be sending out additional hotel booking and travel arrangements and opportunities to
families in hard copy registration packets, via the list-serv, and on our web site!
