How We Use
Your Support
NNPDF is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All financial support is tax deductible to the fullest extent of laws governing charitable contributions. Your contributions support the Foundation, its program to provide services to families affected by Niemann-Pick Disease, and its program to support research toward finding treatments and a cure for NPD.
The Foundation was established by families of Niemann-Pick children to expand research into this rare disease and provide support for other families.
All Board members and officers are volunteers.
Fund raisers are organized and conducted by NNPDF members in their local communities. The Foundation doesn't hire professional fund raisers.
Over 85% of expenditures are program services, such as research grants, family support, and educational materials.
Members contribute their time in many areas to keep administrative costs low.
The website provides a summary of the Foundation's expenditures. Financial reports are available on request.
